Yesterday i purchased a new Nokia 1209 color mobile from chennai mobiles, Coimbatore. My previous mobile Motorola w388 let me down many times due to poor battery performance. The Nokia 1209 was priced at rupees 1500. It is a basic budget phone for the purpose of talking.

Keypad is good, made up of plastic (not rubber as in Nokia 1200). It appears dust proof. Typing is easy in this keypad.

Signal quality and call quality is excellent. Battery too is good. I recommend this mobile for those want a reliable and dependable phone for the purpose of calling and talking.
